True to its founding spirit as an open and dynamic collective, the Clasijazz Big Band Swing & Funk, Clasijazz's resident orchestra, is renowned for its astonishing versatility. For over fifteen years, it has been spreading jazz throughout the Almería region and collaborating on all initiatives arising from within Clasijazz, allowing it to develop an extensive repertoire and perform alongside prominent figures on the national jazz scene, such as Jorge Pardo, and even legends like Benny Golson and Arturo Sandoval.
 
After inaugurating this series last year with a Latin jazz performance accompanying our acclaimed singer José Luis Jaen, Swing & Funk returns to its roots this time to offer us the timeless classics of the Golden Age of Swing.
 
Accompanying this musical explosion, we'll have the infectious energy of Al Swing y al Cabo, a leading jazz dance association in the province that keeps alive the legacy of dances like Lindy Hop and Charleston, and which has been filling Almería's squares with smiles and steps for over a decade.
 
Get ready for a unique sensory experience where music and movement merge on our city's most iconic stage: the Mineral Loading Dock.
